
In the framework of achieving the overall strategy in quality which has been adopted under the prudent leadership and in implementation of the policy of H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, aimed at applying quality management systems through the Strategic Planning & Corporate Excellence Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the ministry's policies and procedures have been restructured to promote performance of diplomatic missions of the country abroad.
Based on this fact, the UAE Embassy in Islamabad has exerted tireless work to achieve this objective through providing decent and honourable level in practising its role in representing the country by providing excellent services and care to the UAE citizens abroad.
This has resulted in receiving the ISO 9001:2008 in quality management by RICI from Quality System Consultants, which is internationally accredited from accreditation entities in Canada, United States, the Middle East and Asia.
UAE Ambassador to Islamabad, Issa Abdullah Al Basha Al Nuaimi, received the certificate from the company's representative in the presence of the embassy's members.
Al Nuaimi said that the achievement came in line with the objectives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs aimed to enhance performance in accordance with quality, efficiency and transparency. He also extended thanks to embassy's staff for their achievement.
RICI is a Certification Body which is certified according to ISO 17021:2011 following the guidelines of ISO 19011, and is associated with International Accreditation Service (IAS).
