The UAE Hot Air Balloon Team will begin its European tour in August, flying the balloon of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to the Polish city of Notchov, and continuing to the German city of Rust, where it will land at Europa Park, the largest theme park in Europe.
Captain Abdulaziz Nasser Al Mansouri, Head of the UAE Hot Air Balloon Team, stressed that the UAE’s youth are moving forward to introduce the vision of the wise leadership, to make the UAE an important international destination.
He highlighted that the team’s European and International tour will seek to inspire the UAE’s youth, with the support of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, while noting that European and international institutions have welcomed the participation of "Khalifa", their lead balloon.
Abdul Rahman Abdullah Naqi, UAE Hot Air Balloon Team Director, praised the support of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, for the team.
Captain Hassan Nasser Al Mansouri, Secretary-General of the UAE Balloon Team, also praised the attention of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Dahfra Region, and his desire to follow the achievements of UAE youth and learn about their international accomplishments, which contribute to highlighting the UAE’s journey.
