A non-commissioned officer of the UAE Armed Forces was martyred on Tuesday during the Arab coalition military operation in Yemen.
Saif Yousuf Ahmad Al Falasi was martyred while performing his national duty as part of the Armed Forces' involvement in Operation Restoring Hope being carried out by the Saudi-led Arab coalition to back the legitimate government of Yemen, WAM news agency reported.
Saudi Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense said the non-commissioned officer would be financially and morally dealt with as any Saudi martyrs.
The operation, led by Saudi Arabia, is intended to support the legitimate, exiled government of President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi in Yemen.
