The UAE has requested the discussion of the latest Houthi assault on its embassy in Sanaa at today's emergency meeting of the Arab League (AL) held to review situation in Libya, MENA learnt on Tuesday.
The AL opened a meeting at the level of permanent representatives under Jordan to consider the Libyan government's request on ways of combating Daesh militants and other terror groups there.
Libya is witnessing its worst spasm of violence since the 2011 ouster and killing of dictator Muammar Gaddafi as rival militias battled for control of territory and political clout.
