
UAE's Vice-President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashed Al-Maktoum underlined Sunday the Federal National Council's (FNC) crucial role in the service of citizens and country.
Addressing the Fourth regular term of the 15th legislative session on behalf of President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, Sheikh Mohammad, also ruler of Dubai, said the FNC members were carrying out a vital role in serving and developing the nation.
Sheikh Mohammad called on FNC members to work hard on preserving stability, security and wellbeing of citizens.
FNC President Mohammad Al-Mur said the members would keep serving the country for the sake of its development and prosperity.
The members then elected the supervisor of the council and members of the standing committees.
