
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has welcomed the successful initiative made by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his brotherly endeavors to heal the rift between the State of Qatar and the Arab Republic of Egypt to open a new page between the two countries and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and mutual cooperation between them.
In a statement to Emirates News Agency (WAM), Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE Foreign Minister, said, "The initiative by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques will have a significant positive impact on promoting solidarity among all Arab countries, and marks the beginning of a blessed new phase of joint Arab action that will consolidate the bonds of brotherhood and cooperation between them so they can stand in the face of challenges."
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed also stressed the UAE's appreciation for the efforts made by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the response of Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar and Egyptian President Abdul Fattah Al-Sisi.
