Mohamed bin Zayed
Abu Dhabi - WAM

The U.A.E., under the wise leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, will remain a staunch supporter for Arab brothers, based on the longstanding and deeply imbedded approach founded by the founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the U.A.E. Armed Forces, has affirmed.
''President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan is keen to cherish and promote Sheikh Zayed's legacy of standing beside sisterly countries, making every effort to alleviate their suffering and backing their drive to serve their interest as well as supporting humanitarian issues across the world,'' His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan said as he received today at Bateen Palace members of the Coordination Office of U.A.E.-funded Development Projects in Egypt led by Dr Sultan Ahmad Al Jaber, Minister of State, who paid a courtesy visit to extend Ramadan greetings.
In the presence of a group of stakeholders, supporters and media representatives, Sheikh Mohamed and his guests exchanged greetings on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, praying Allah to return it with further progress, glory and prosperity for the U.A.E. leadership and people.
Sheikh Mohamed appreciated the relentless efforts the team had made in cooperation with the Egyptian government to launch and implement a package of inclusive development initiatives that support the common Egyptian citizen by concentrating on vital sectors like energy, housing, education, healthcare, infrastructure and utilities apart from the economic aid.
''The U.A.E. will remain at the forefront of countries supporting Arab brothers and will not hesitate to play any active role in supporting them, alleviating their suffering and enabling them to face the heavy burdens they endure in a way that enhances their stability and brings about goodness to them,'' the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi said.
''We will stay this course because standing with our brothers means standing with ourselves.'' Sheikh Mohamed was briefed by the work team on the progress of work of the coordination office which oversees U.A.E.-funded projects in Egypt. HH has instructed the team to put on more efforts to expedite delivery of these projects and ensure swiftness and efficiency in implementation so as to generate better economic and social benefit for the simple Egyptian citizen.
For his part, Dr Sultan Ahmad Al Jaber, Minister of State, and Chairman of the Coordination Office of UAE-funded Development Projects in Egypt, paid on behalf of the team profound thanks and gratitude to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the U.A.E. Armed Forces, for their support, instructions and follow up without which ''we could not have made this tangible progress in this mission.'' ''We will pursue our mandate guided by Sheikh Mohamed's instructions which have a good impression on members of the team and which have provided them with a catalyst and enthusiasm to continue the work so as to deliver the aspired results,'' he said.
The work team included representatives of the ministries of foreign affairs and presidential affairs, Higher National Security Council, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Foundation, Emirates Red Crescent, Federal Authority of Electricity and Water (FEWA), Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD), Abu Dhabi Electricity and Water Authority (ADEWA), Abu Dhabi Finance Department, Secretariat General of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), Emirates Liquefied Natural Gas Co., Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development, International Petroleum Investment Co.
