
UAE's Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed al Nahyan received the visiting Swedish Foreign Minister Margot Wallstrom on Sunday.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the UAE and Sweden and ways to enhance cooperation in various fields in the best interest of the two friendly countries, WAM News Agency reported on Sunday.
They also reviewed the latest developments in the Middle East Region as well as a number of regional and international issues of mutual concern.
UAE's foreign minister emphasized his country's keenness on boosting relations with the Kingdom of Sweden and building strategic partnerships which would contribute to enhancing the development march between the two friendly countries.
Wallstrom noted that Sweden has distinguished and ties with the UAE, especially in the economic and trade fields. She also highlighted the UAE's stature at the regional and international levels as well as its achievements in all domains.
