
Investigations by an Alexandria prosecution indicated that a defendant who was referred to criminal court over charges of threats against foreign embassies is named Aymed Asmar and he is unemployed.
He is facing charges of sending threats to foreign embassies in Egypt that terrorist elements are targeting consuls and other foreign diplomats accredited to Egypt.
He admitted that he hates Egypt and therefore has tried to undermine its interests through his own way.
The prosecution charged him with spreading rumors that would harm law and order and affect the national interests of the country.
Accordingly, he would be sentenced to five years in prison.
