The UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) said Saturday that the number of Syrian refugees in Lebanon has risen to some 1.138 million.
In its weekly report, UNHCR reported that the number of registered refugees stands at more than 1.110 million whereas more than 28,000 are awaiting registration.
The growing number of Syrian refugees in Lebanon is causing severe strain on the state.
