A unified Palestinian delegation was formed under a decision by President Mahmoud Abbas and will leave for Cairo this noon, said member of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) and MP Qais Abdel-Karim.
The delegation comprises 12 persons representing all Palestinian factions, Abdel-Karim told MENA correspondent here.
The MP, who is also a member at the delegation, said the team will work under an agreement reached between Palestinian movements that sets Palestinian demands and guarantees for a lasting ceasefire in Gaza and extending the current 72-hour truce.
Negotiations with the Israeli side will be held indirectly with Egypt's mediation, he said.
