The plan will be later sent to the cabinet for discussion and approval. Sheikh Mohammed expressed satisfaction with the strategy which has its focus on qualifying national youth and boosting the process of Emiratisation at TRA. He gave directives to focus efforts on social networking websites to regulate them, increase the numbers of subscribers and to protect them from manipulation. Sheikh Mohammed also commended highly qualified nationals who account for the majority of human resources at TRA’s different departments and are responsible for the process of social, scientific and economic development of the telecommunications sector. He urged more efforts to enable the UAE to achieve the top place. “Number one is what we want you to achieve and what we seek for the UAE,” he said.
