The Government has set up a “well thought-out” plan for Ghardaïa, including "security measures and other arrangements" aiming the re-establishment of security in this city, Minister of the Interior Tayeb Belaiz affirmed Wednesday.
While answering APS question on the events having occurred in the region recently, Belaiz said, in the margin of the adoption of some bills by the National People’s Assembly (Lower House), "the Government set up a well thought-out plan for reestablishing peace and public order in this province."
The plan includes "security measures and other arrangements "that will be implemented gradually by the executive authorities of the province of Ghardaia, headed by the prefect, so that the city "finds the security and the tranquility it has always known," he added.
During an inspection visit to the region, last June, Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal said that the situation in the province "is clearly improving," adding that the government "will permanently solve the problem through dialogue and consultation in accordance with the instructions of the President of the Republic. "
However, it is necessary to pursue efforts, the premier stressed.
