A woman and a child were killed and several civilians injured in a car bombing carried out by Takfiri elements in the city of Rafah Friday.
The car exploded when law enforcement forces passed by the area during a mission that was part of operation “Martyr's Right” against militant groups in North Sinai.
Security forces cordoned off Rafah city and combed the area to arrest suspects.
The Armed Forces announced Thursday the killing of 86 takfiri elements and the arrest of another 195 over the past three days since the start of the operation in North Sinai.
