
Yemen and the United States discussed here on Tuesday ways to enhance the joint cooperation between the two friendly countries.
During their meeting, Foreign Minister Jamal al-Salal and US ambassador to Yemen Matthew Tueller also reviewed the developments in the local and international arenas.
The Foreign Minister stressed Yemen's adherence to succeed the transitional phase, expressing his hope that donors could provide further support for Yemen to address the underway security and economic challenges, topped by terrorism.
Terrorism threatens not only Yemen's security and stability but also the international security, the Minister added.
For his part, the US ambassador stressed his country's commitment to the security and stability of Yemen and the implementation of the national dialogue conference's (NDC) outcomes in order to succeed the transition process in Yemen.
