The return of the Yemeni interior and transport ministers and the head of the national security agency to Aden was to secure the return of President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, a resistance leader said.
Speaking over the phone to "Al Ghad Al Arabi" news channel, Bassam al Ban said that Hadi's office had announced earlier that the president will return back to the country to perform the Eid prayers and follow up the developments.
The Houthis seized Sanaa in September before tightening their grip and prompting Yemeni President Hadi to flee to Aden. They then moved forward to Aden, forcing Hadi to flee the country in late March.
