Prime Minister Khalid Bahah said on Saturday that Yemen still faces enormous challenges and the government has a multi-dimensional heavy task at the political, economic and security level.
At the opening of the Fourth Conference of Family Businesses, which was held in Aden province and organized by the Yemeni Businessmen Club, Bahah pointed out that what everyone needs more at this stage is the restoration of the state's role and function.
"All people in this country are partners in the national responsibility and concerned in Yemen's exit from this impasse", Bahah said. He underlined the importance of the private sector’s vital role.
The economic activity is not a separate process from the businessmen's commitment to the social responsibility, the premier added.
He stressed that what is required today is a broader responsibility, specifically towards an entire homeland living an exceptional and difficult situation.
In his speech at the conference, Bahah praised the vital role being played by the family companies in the industrial sector development.
The premier emphasized the need for working to restore the civilizational and economic role of the city of Aden.
