Yemeni Government approves security deployment plan to protect vital road in East of Country

The Yemeni Government today approved a security deployment plan to protect one of the vital and important roads in the eastern province of Marib.
In a telephone conversation with the Chief of General Staff, Major General Muhammad Ali Al-Maqdashi, Prime Minister Ahmad Obeid bin Dagher called for the immediate deployment of the units of the National Army to secure the road "Al-Wadea-Alabar/Seoun Marib, and put an end to the criminal practices that are carried out from time to time by gangs targeting travelers and passers-by, which have recently increased significantly.
Major General, bin Dagher called on the National Army to shoulder its full responsibility for securing public roads, as one of its priorities.
