Yemeni Vice President Khaled Bahah telephoned Saudi Defense Minister Prince Mohamed bin Salman on Friday night to discuss the latest developments in Yemen after the Houthi and Saleh militias breached the truce.
By violating the truce, those militias have unveiled their ill intentions to continue their offensive against the Yemeni people, Bahah said.
He told Prince Mohamed that the Yemeni government's delegation to the Geneva talks is taking positive steps and is seeking to end the war at home and stop the bloodshed.
The government delegation is acting to restore legitimate institutions in the country and release detainees, Bahah said.
Prince Mohamed assured Bahah that Saudi Arabia supports Yemen and will continue to do so until security and stability are restored.
