Yemeni President Abd Rabu Mansour Hadi on Tuesday urged Saudi Chief of Staff Abdulrahman Al Banyan to intensify airstrikes on Houthi militias in Taiz province.
In a telephone call with Banyan, who leads the joint forces of the Arab coalition, Hadi urged more qualitative arms to the national army and popular resistance forces in Taiz to help liberate Taiz military axis and other Houthi-controlled areas.
The Yemeni president praised Saudi-led support for forces loyal to the legitimacy and popular resistance in the face of Shi'ite and Saleh's militias that had a significant impact in defeating rebels from several provinces.
Earlier in the day, Hadi arrived in Jeddah to meet with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
