Palestinian Minister of Health Jawad Awad said that his ministry did not ignore the Gaza Strip and resumed its role towards the residents of the besieged strips for the latest years. He stressed that they were keen to meet the demands of Gaza’s hospitals and medical centers to serve the interests of the Palestinian people.
He added, in a statement to “Emirates Voice”, “In light of the previous political situation, the ministry continued to facilitate the Gaza Strip, where it facilitated tasks through the treatment department abroad.” He stressed that the government will work during the coming period to improve the health situation in the Gaza Strip.
Awad concluded that the health sector in Gaza will witness a remarkable development in the interest of the Gazan citizens in the most important sectors of the state
