The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) will act, next Thursday in Vienna (Italy), “in a way to have a consensus approach” that can generate stable solutions to the fall in oil price, said Tuesday in Algiers Minister of Energy Youcef Yousfi.
“This approach is necessary to generate stable solutions,” said the minister in a reply to a question from APS during a press briefing held on the sidelines of the inauguration of the first service station for compressed natural gas.
During this meeting, the member countries of the OPEC “will examine the evolution of the market, the imbalances that caused the drop in prices and consult on the way to re-establish balance of the market,” said Yousfi.
