Egypt's Agriculture Minister Adel el Beltagy on Monday said the last visit of President Abdel Fattah el Sisi to Italy helped in developing the special bilateral relations at all levels and in all fields.
During his meeting with Italian Agriculture Minister Maurizio Martina, the minster added that Egypt's 2030 development strategy aims at improving the farmers' standard of living and establishing a stable life in the countryside, the minister said.
Italy is an important partner in the development of agriculture in Egypt, he added.
Earlier in the day, Egypt and Italy signed Monday three agreements to boost cooperation in the field of agriculture.
The deals aim at building capabilities and conducting researches at the national and international levels to achieve sustainable agricultural development.
