Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary General Abdullatif Al-Zayani on Wednesday strongly denounced "recurrent and irresponsible" remarks by Iranian officials against the member states.
Regretfully, Iran's policy, still interferes in the affairs of some Arab states, in a way that shakes their security and stability, as well as the region's, and also threatens the historical ties among the peoples, he said in a statement here today.
This happens despite the historical ties between the GCC and Iran peoples and the stances the member states manifest towards Iran, embodied in a desire for stronger relations and a call for good neighbourliness, according to the statement.
