The EU Tuesday reiterated that its objective is to reach a comprehensive agreement with Iran by the deadline of 24 November which will reassure the international community about the exclusively peaceful nature of Iranian nuclear programme.
Catherine Ray, spokesperson for EU foreign affairs, told a news conference here today that nuclear talks with Iran are continuing.
She noted that talks took place yesterday and day before yesterday in Oman between US secretary of state John Kerry, Iranian foreign minister Javad Zarif and Fformer EU High Representative Catherine Ashton.
The talks are continuing on the level of political directors of the so-called group 5+1 (China, France, Russia, UK, US plus Germany), she added.
