
The parliamentary committee specialized in the legislative field of the regular meeting of heads of Shura councils and parliaments of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) concluded its meetings in Muscat Monday, officia ONA news agency reported.
During today's meeting, participants approved the amended regulation for the GCC parliamentary committee, and referred it for adoption at the next regular meeting of heads of GCC Shura councils and parliaments, according to ONA.
The committee's main aim is to reach an integrated GCC parliamentary system as a reflection of Gulf States' aspirations, heads of delegations to the committee meeting said.
The State of Kuwait was represented at the two-meeting by Chairman of the Legislative and Legal Affairs Committee of the National Assembly Mubarak Al-Hurais and rapporteur of the committee Yaqoub Al-Sane'. (pickup previous) hny.ma
