Israeli army shoots Palestinian dead in Nablus

Israeli forces shot on Tuesday a Palestinian youth dead in southern Nablus, near Qalqilya, a security source said.
The sources identified the slain as Mohamad Naeem Sabry.
Meantime, an Israeli media outlets said a Palestinian suspected of trying to run over soldiers and civilians at the Eyal border crossing near Qalqilya in the West Bank on Tuesday afternoon was critically wounded after being shot by Israeli troops at the scene.
He reportedly tried to ram through the checkpoint and run over soldiers and civilians there. An Israeli was lightly wounded in the incident.
A Kfir Brigade soldier who felt a threat posed to his safety fired at the driver, seriously wounding him. Another passenger was shot in his leg while trying to escape, and was lightly wounded.
He was taken to the Meir Medical Center in Kfar Saba in critical condition and later transferred to the Rabin Medical Center in Petah Tikva.
