Israeli forces Thursday morning shot dead two Palestinians in Tal Rumeida neighborhood in the center of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, said Palestinian Health Ministry.
The Ministry said that Israeli forces shot dead two Palestinian young men, who have not been identified yet, in Tal Rumeida, Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) reported. Israeli media reported that the two men were killed after they allegedly stabbed and wounded a soldier at a checkpoint by the neighborhood.
The soldier allegedly sustained light-to-moderate wounds in the shoulder and hand. This brings the number of martyrs of Hebron City who shot dead by Israeli occupation forces to 61 martyrs since last October.
