Jordanian king warns of Israeli escalation on Gaza strip

Jordan's King Abdullah II on Friday warned of the dangerous Israeli escalation against the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, a matter which would increase the suffering of the Palestinian people and foil attempts to resume peace talks between the Palestinians and the Israelis, the Jordan News Agency ( Petra) reported today.
The King also warned of the vacuum caused by the stalled negotiations on the final status issues which are based on the two-state solution The statement made by Jordan's King ,during his meeting with US Vice-President Joe Biden.
Both sides discussed the strategic ties between the two countries and the latest developments in the Middle East.
