Over 12000 Congolese flee To Uganda
Kampala - SPA
A Ugandan official says more than 12,300 Congolese fleeing violence at home have crossed into Uganda. Stephen Mallinga, Uganda\'s minister for disaster preparedness and relief, said in a statement Wednesday that the number keeps rising, with Ugandan authorities now forming a contingency plan for up to 30,000 refugees from Congo. Mallinga said the Congolese are being resettled in four remote refugee camps, according to a report of the Associated Press. The Congolese are fleeing renewed violence in the country\'s east, where a renegade general\'s militia is terrorizing villagers.

Paris - Emiratesvoice
Two months after legendary designer Azzedine Alaia's sudden death plunged the fashion world into mourning, an exhibition in homage to the "King of Cling" opens Monday in his studios in Paris. The Tunisian-born designer, renowned for the way his clothes hugged the body, died suddenly in November aged 82, reportedly of heart failure after falling down the stairs at his home.
