Turkey condemned Monday Israel’s appropriation of Palestinian land in the West Bank.
The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement today condemning the decision, which the ministry said confirmed Israel’s illegal activities on Palestinian land.
The ministry also noted in its statement that Israel’s decision may have a negative effect on the ceasefire deal agreed between Hamas and Israel to end the violence in Gaza. Turkey then called on Israel to avoud any decision that could have an adverse effect on the two-state solution. The Ministry also called on Israel to reverse the decision.
