1 killed, 30 injured in building balcony collapse in east India

A woman was killed and 30 others injured after the balcony of a house in a closed jute mill collapsed during a religious procession at Banipur in Howrah District of the east Indian state of West Bengal, around 1,500 km from here Friday evening. The incident occurred when a large group of women and children gathered on the balcony of a quarter of the closed National Jute Mill to watch the procession being taken out on the Muslim holy month of Muharram, police said.
