One foreign tourist was killed and many others injured as a hot air balloon hard landed in central Turkey on Wednesday, private Dogan news agency reported.
The balloon, which belongs to private Atmosphere Ballooning Company, fell near Guvercinlik Valley in Capadokya region of Nevsehir province in central Turkey at 08:15 a.m. local time (GMT 0615), the report said, adding that a Chinese tourist was killed and many others from China and Malaysia were injured.
The Turkish emergency service and security forces have rushed to the scene as an investigation is underway, according to the report.
