100 cars involved in pile-up on British bridge

More than 100 cars were involved in a pile-up during foggy conditions Thursday on a bridge linking the southern English county of Kent with the Isle of Sheppey, police said. Emergency services had been called to the scene and there were believed to be serious injuries, police added, according to DPA. It was not immediately clear what had caused the crash, which took place at around 7.15 am (0615 GMT).
