A total of 114 people were injured when two public transport buses collided Cote d\'Ivoire\'s central town of Yamoussoukro, local sources said on Friday. The Yamoussoukro firefighters confirmed that 114 people were injured in Thursday\'s crash at the section of Lolobo. They were rushed to the Yamoussoukro Regional Hospital Center (CHR) for treatment. The two 70-seater buses were coming from different directions, one from Abidjan to Korhogo in the north and the other from the central region of Bouake to Abidjan in the south. \"We had arrived at Lolobo and we were driving a little faster. However, the driver saw a truck, a mini-bus and a taxi standing on the road. The driver wanted to stop but the breaks did not work. He therefore swerved to the left side to avoid hitting the three vehicles. It is at this moment that the two buses collided, leaving many people injured,\" according to Amara, one of the passengers in the bus heading to Korhogo. \"Unfortunately, the three vehicles that caused the accident left the scene of the collision immediately after the accident,\" said Amara, who came out of the accident unhurt.
