An American Airlines jet made an emergency landing at Tokyo's Narita International Airport early Wednesday after hitting turbulence that injured at least 12 passengers, dpa cited a news report as saying.
The US-bound flight carrying 240 passengers and 15 crew members encountered the turbulence around 7:30 pm Tuesday (1030 GMT) after departing from Seoul at 6:15 pm, Japanese authorities said.
