As many as 121 insurgents have been killed in fresh raids across Afghanistan, Khaama Press reported Wednesday.
A statement by the Ministry of Interior, the raids were conducted in past 24 hours.
Twenty-three foreign fighters were among those who were killed in the operations.
A number of bombs were also defused by the security forces during the operations, the statement added.
