14 dead, 12 missing after boat sinks in Indonesia

At least 14 people were killed after a boat sank Sunday off an island in Indonesia's North Maluku province, dpa quoted an official as saying.
The boat was carrying 35 people when it was caught in bad weather and
hit by a three-meter-high wave, said Sutopo Purwo Nugroho, a spokesman for the National Disaster Management Agency.
Nugroho said nine people were rescued. Twelve others were missing.
