17 Afghan civilians attending wedding killed in a roadside bomb

A roadside bomb in western Afghanistan on Friday killed 17 civilians who were attending a wedding party when their minibus triggered the mine, officials said. Most of victims were women and children, Afghan police official Noor Kintoz was quoted by German press agency as saying, adding the incident took place in Pushtkoh district of Farah province. At least 14 others were injured in the incident. It was not clear whether they were going to the wedding or returning from one
