2 injured in light plane crash in Croatia

Two people were severely injured when a single-engine Cessna 172 plane crashed in a mine-suspected area in eastern Croatia on Thursday, local media reported. Rescuers have established contact with one of the two people, the aircraft's pilot and one passenger, onboard the plane, but have not been able to reach them, according to local authorities. The agricultural spraying aircraft allegedly took off from Serbia. It is not immediately known what had caused the crash, but dense fog and continuous rain might have led to the accident.
