At least two were killed and four people were reportedly trapped under debris in a landslide at Antop Hill of Mumbai Wednesday. The landslide occurred at around 8 a.m. local time, when the victims were in their houses. Falling land smashed the houses into pieces, with the residents buried under the debris. Local government has sent a team of 40 members for the rescue operation, and three ambulances have rushed to the spot. So far, two people have died and three others have been rescued. Continuous heavy rain since Tuesday night is believed to have caused the landslide, and the area is also said to be prone to landslides.
