Two teenagers were shot Wednesday night outside Frederick High School as a junior varsity basketball game was played inside, Frederick County, Maryland police and school officials said.
About 200 people who attended the game were being questioned in the cafeteria as of 10:15 p.m., said Michael Doerrer, a school system spokesman. But within an hour, police had completed most interviews and they released students and parents, said Lt. Bruce DeGrange, a police spokesman.
Police did not comment on a possible assailant or assailants and did not say what might have prompted the gunfire.
