At least 23 Taliban militants and two troops of the Afghan National Army were killed in military operations against the insurgents, dpa cited the Defence Ministry as saying Wednesday.
'The operation was launched in three provinces of Kandahar, Kunduz and Kapisa in the past 24 hours,' the ministry said in a statement.
'Twenty-five militants were also wounded,' it said.
