3 children, 1 adult pulled from plane crash wreckage

Investigators have recovered four bodies from the wreckage of a plane crash in East Haven, Conn., officials said. The plane slammed into a house Friday. Saturday, investigators said four bodies were pulled from the wreckage, The New York Times reported. Although investigators have not identified the victims, family members identified the pilot of the plane as Bill Henningsgaard, 54, who was touring colleges with his son Maxwell, 17. Both died in the crash. The other two bodies belonged to children, ages 1 and 13, who were in the house at the time of the crash. The Henningsgaards took off from Teterboro Airport in northern New Jersey Friday morning and made a short trip to Connecticut to visit Yale University. However, something went wrong as the plane approached Tweed New Haven Airport, and the plane crashed into the house. The cause of the crash is still unclear.
