3 injured in Swedish stabbing incident

A stabbing incident in a small town near Stockholm, Sweden, injured three people, one critically, police said Thursday. A 39-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of committing the attack Wednesday in the community of Varmdo, a group of islands and an archipelago near the city of Stockholm, police said. Police have reported the suspect has offered no information, but witnesses said he was observed roaming the area and acting in a threatening manner toward passers-by, the Swedish news agency TT reported Thursday.
