4 Dead, 26 Injured in South China

Four people were killed and another 26 injured in a pileup on an expressway early Monday morning in Shaoguan City in Guangdong Province, said local police. Around 2 a.m. Monday morning, a bus with 45 passengers on board hit a truck and then another four vehicles parked along the roadside, Xinhua reported. Four people died instantly, said an official with the public security bureau of Shaoguan. None of the injured were in critical condition and most had only sustained minor injuries. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
