
Four people were confirmed dead after being buried in a landslide that took place in east China's Zhejiang Province Monday afternoon, local authority said. The landslide took place at 4:27 p.m. near a road construction site in the mountainous Kaihua county in the city of Quzhou, burying five people, the county government said. All the five were soon pulled out and rushed to hospital. Only one of them was out of danger, while the other four were declared dead after treatment failed at 11:15 p.m. Local government said the four, three women and a man, were all local people working on the site. Investigation on the cause of the disaster is currently underway.
