5 dead, 13 missing in Nepal landslides

At least five people were killed in landslides triggered by incessant rainfall in western Nepal on Monday, dpa cited local media as reporting. Two children died in Palpa district after being buried under alandslide, Kantipur Television reported. Three others were killed in Syangja district when their house was swept away. Police said they were searching for 13 others who have gone missing during the storms. More than 70 people have died in monsoon-related accidents in Nepal since mid-June.
