Five people were killed and six more were injured Saturday evening in a road accident in northwest China's Qinghai Province, local police said.
The accident occurred in Huangyuan County at around 6:40 p.m, when a tractor crashed into a jeep and two cars. The tractor's brakes seemed to have failed on a long slope, Xinhua reported.
Five people in one car were killed. Another six people were injured and hospitalized with no life-threatening condition. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
