
Five people were wounded in the clashes between the Turkish police and two unidentified gunmen in the Turkish capital of Ankara on Saturday, Turkey's NTV news channel reported.
The clashes between the police and the gunmen erupted in the Dikmen district of Ankara on Saturday noon, leaving three policemen and two Turkish civilians wounded, including one woman, said the report, adding that the gunmen fled the scene and ran into a building nearby.
The Turkish police have been surrounding the building in a bid to catch the gunmen, added the report.
An investigation into the incident is underway, said the report.
